Agreement and service description

Text Assist provides free browser-based text tools and related guides. By accessing or using the site, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. No account or paid subscription is required for the current tools.

You may use output from the tools for lawful personal, educational or commercial purposes. You remain responsible for reviewing the output and deciding whether it is suitable for your intended use.

How the tools operate

Text processing is designed to happen locally in your browser. The site may download code and word-list data needed for a tool to operate, but we do not promise that every result will be complete, unique or appropriate for every language, dictionary, style guide or word game. In particular, word counts can vary between services and the Word Unscrambler may include uncommon words or omit specialised terms.

Advertising and Google AdSense

Text Assist may display advertisements supplied by Google AdSense or other advertising partners. Advertising revenue helps us offer the tools without charging visitors. Ads are third-party content and do not represent an endorsement, guarantee or recommendation by Text Assist.

Advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy. Any interaction, purchase or agreement between you and an advertiser is solely between you and that advertiser. Text Assist is not responsible for an advertiser's products, claims, availability, payment process or privacy practices.

Google Search Console

We may use Google Search Console to understand how the site is indexed and discovered through Google Search. Search performance information may guide changes to page titles, descriptions, internal links, guides and technical accessibility. Search Console does not control tool results, and its use does not guarantee that any Text Assist page will appear or rank in search results.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Text Assist for unlawful activity; interfere with the site's operation or security; attempt to gain unauthorised access; distribute malicious code; overload the service through excessive automated requests; scrape or reproduce substantial parts of the site or dictionary; or falsely suggest that Text Assist endorses you, your content or your services.

You are responsible for having the right to use any text you enter. Do not use the tools to infringe copyright, violate privacy, harass others or create content that breaks applicable law.

Ownership

The Text Assist name, site design, original guides and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you permission to use the service, not ownership of the site. You retain any rights you already hold in text you enter, and Text Assist does not claim ownership of your tool output.

Availability, changes and termination

We may update, suspend or remove a tool, guide or part of the site at any time. We aim to keep the service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, continued compatibility with every browser or permanent availability of any feature. We may restrict access when necessary to protect the service or respond to misuse.

No warranty

The site and tools are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that results are accurate, complete, error-free or suitable for a specific purpose. Always review important output before publishing it, submitting it for assessment, using it in software or relying on it for a business decision.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Text Assist is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the site, tool output, advertisements or linked services. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Third-party services and links

The site may rely on or link to services operated by others, including hosting, advertising and Google services. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party websites, outages, content or changes.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service, law or supporting services change. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised date. Continued use of Text Assist after an update means you accept the revised terms.
